Mahindra has revealed new details on the expensive Pack Three trim of the XEV 9e. The XEV 9e Pack Three will be offered with both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options, priced at Rs. 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra says bookings for the Pack Three 79 kWh will open on February 14 and deliveries will begin in early March 2025. The price of the Pack Three 59 kWh variant has not been revealed. Bookings for the rest of the variants will be announced in March.

Mahindra XEV 9e Launch
Mahindra introduced its electric SUV Mahindra XEV 9e in December 2024. The base variant is priced at Rs 21.90 lakh and the top variant (Pack-3) is priced at Rs 30.50 lakh ex-showroom. The price of its mid-variant is yet to be revealed. The stated price of the car is without the price of its charger. Customers will have to buy the charger of the car by paying extra.
Mahindra XEV 9e Features
The car has been designed in a very good and attractive design. In which triangular headlights with projector headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, LED light bar at the front, inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights, blanked-off grille, contrast color outside rear view mirrors and rear skid plate will be seen. Which makes its design more attractive.
For safety, the car will get many great features like 7 airbags (6 airbags in entry level), dual-zone climate control, tweaked center console, three-screen setup on dashboard, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake (EPB), 65W USB Type-C charging port, wireless mobile projection, 1400-watt Harman-Kardon 16-speaker music system and cabin pre-cooling function.
Technologies like Intelligent Adaptive Suspension have been added in the expensive Pack Three trim, Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistant System, 19-inch alloy wheels (20-inch optional), panoramic glass roof with edge lighting, configurable ambient lighting, DRLs with start-up graphics, auto park function via key or smartphone, powered driver seat, front seat ventilation, 360-degree camera with recorder function, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, and an updated head-up display among other features.
A selfie camera has also been provided in the cabin of both of them. This camera tracks the driver’s face and can also alert the driver to apply brakes if fatigue is detected. People can also use it for video conferencing.
Range and Charging Time
This new SUV has been launched with battery packs of 59kWh and 79 kWh capacity. Both have lithium iron phosphate batteries. Regarding which the company is claiming that the variant with 79kWh battery pack has the ability to give a range of 656 km in a single charge. That is, this car can easily travel 540 km from Delhi to Lucknow once fully charged. Which can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC fast charger.
Mahindra XEV 9e Booking
Booking of the top variant (Pack-3) of Mahindra XEV 9e will start from February 14, 2025 next month. While the delivery process will take place in March 2025. Apart from this, information related to registration and delivery of other variants has not been announced yet. The company will release the timeline soon.

Mahindra has revealed only the base variant of the XEV 9e. Both are equipped with a 59 kWh battery pack. The starting ex-showroom price of Mahindra XEV 9e is Rs 21.90 lakh.
