TVS Motor Company is expected to showcase the all-new Jupiter-based EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The company has already confirmed that it will launch an all-electric scooter by March 2025 in the Indian market. Though not much is known about the Jupiter EV at this moment, we expect it to target the B2B segment. TVS already has two electric scooters in its portfolio in the form of the iQube and X. TVS Launches CNG scooter
Last year, the first CNG-powered bike was launched by Bajaj. Which has made a special place in the two-wheeler segment. Now TVS has introduced TVS Jupiter CNG Scooter. Which is currently in the concept model. It will be prepared and launched soon.

Jupiter CNG has been given new and smart features. It has features like LED headlights, USB charger, stand cut-off and Bluetooth connectivity. This scooter has been specially designed for eco-friendly and fuel-saving.
Features
TVS Jupiter CNG Scooter has an OBD2B compliant engine. Which gives a power of 5.3 bhp and a maximum torque output of 9.4Nm. It will have many great features including USB charging port, stand cut off safety system and Bluetooth connectivity. The CNG variant will have less boot space than the petrol variant.
Design
The design of the TVS Jupiter CNG is largely similar to the 125cc petrol model, but some important changes have been made keeping in mind the use of CNG. It has a 1.4 kg CNG tank and a 2-liter petrol tank. The styling of the scooter offers the same classic and practical design that is already popular among Jupiter riders.
Performance
Talking about the mileage and powerful engine of this CNG scooter, a 125 cc engine is going to be used in the TVS Jupiter CNG scooter. But according to the report, the TVS CNG scooter is going to be the best in terms of mileage. Advanced technology can be seen in the CNG scooter and it will be successful in giving a long range of up to 102 km on 1 liter CNG. Along with this, CNG will give good pickup and comfortable speed. TVS Jupiter CNG scooter also has a petrol tank along with a CNG tank. It has a 1.4 kg CNG tank and a 2 liter petrol tank. After filling the CNG and petrol tanks once, this scooter will travel up to 225 km. Its average mileage range will be up to 84 km.
TVS Jupiter CNG Scooter Price
The petrol version of TVS Jupiter is currently available between Rs 88,174 and Rs 99,015 (ex-showroom). It is believed that the Jupiter CNG version will also be priced between Rs 90,000 and Rs 99,000. Although the boot space may be slightly less due to the CNG tank, its fuel saving capability makes it a better option.
Conclusion
The company plans to sell around 1,000 units of its gas-based scooters every month. The move is in line with TVS’ broader strategy to offer clean options and reduce its carbon footprint. TVS claims that Jupiter CNG will give a mileage of 84 km per kg of CNG. Once the tank is full, this scooter can run up to 226 km.
